The stainless steel profile should be wiped clean of any light
surface grease/oil before installation. Stainless steel is an extremely
durable hard wearing material. The profile has a factory finish
(no polishing or brushing has been applied) and general machine
marking , light scratches on the products surface is normal.
1. Complete tiling
around window or one side of a corner first.
2. Measure length
required and mitre trim as necessary. Stainless steel is a very
hard metal, use a new very fine blade in your hacksaw and hold the
profile securely whilst cutting.
3.
Apply tile adhesive.
4. Place tile edging
in adhesive ensuring tile adhesive comes through holes provided.
5.
Place tiles on to adhesive butting up against trim edge. 6. Take time to ensure
tiles are flush with edge of the trim, pack up with extra adhesive
if required.
7. Take care to wash
off excess adhesive whilst still wet. Set adhesive is very difficult
to remove.
8. Grout tiles in
the normal way again making sure all excess grout is removed whilst
still wet.
9. Allow adhesive
and grout to dry thoroughly before normal use.
