Quick, clean, easy to install. No tubes or gun required. Simply unroll, peel back the backing paper and press into place.

Surface Preparation If another sealant has been used prior to application of imagetrim bath & worktop seal, remove and clean thoroughly. If silicone sealant has been used it must be removed completely. If necessary, mineral spirits may be used to soften any remaining particles of sealant. Ensure that any oily residue that might remain such as soap film, mildew, grease etc. is cleaned away with a scouring powder and then finally, clean up with methylated spirits to ensure that all oily residues are eliminated. Dry all surfaces thoroughly, before installing imagetrim bath & worktop seal.

NOTE: The use of mineral spirits and scouring powders might discolour surfaces. If in doubt test on a small area first. Application around bath/shower Measure the longest length to be sealed with imagetrim bath & worktop seal. Cut the strip to length.

1. Prebend by folding the Strip at the scoreline back against itself inexcess of a 90° angle.

2. Peel off the first 30cms (12") of release paper and press the Strip into the root of the joint. Take care not to stretch the Strip when applying. Best results are achieved by allowing the Strip to take up its natural position as you press into the root of the joint. Measure the shorter lengths and apply in the same manner.

3. At corners overlap the bottom half of the Strip. It can be left this way or mitred (45¡ angle) by cutting through both layers. After installation press fingers firmly over all applied lengths to ensure good adhesion and a watertight seal.

4. When applied where a shower is to be used and where tile grout lines are deep, it might be possible for water to penetrate the seal. In this event take the precaution of applying tile grout between the grout line and the Strip to ensure effective seal.

USEFUL TIP - If imagetrim bath & worktop seal has been stored in a cold environment, best results are achieved by bringing the Strip up to room temperature either by warming on a radiator or applying light heat with a hairdryer. You can use your bath immediately however when used with a shower it is preferable to allow 12 hours to ensure an effective and long lasting seal. imagetrim bath & worktop seal should not be subjected to constant immersion over long periods.
